It’s 10th April 2021 – restrictions are beginning to ease…again…

Will this be it? Will normality ever resume?

I don’t know about you, but back in March 2020 I certainly didn’t think life would change to the extent that it has and the length of time restrictions have been in place.

There is no doubting that Covid-19 changed my life in more than one way, as it has for many people all over the world.

Working from home became a thing, facemasks being worn as though we are living on some kind of alien planet. Not to mention the closure of so many business and restrictions on seeing family and friends.

The things we took for granted, the materialistic things we no longer need, the new things we’ve learnt to dressing up and having date nights at home…

Being an introvert I’ve been fine riding the wave, most of the time. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my moments!

The feeling of seclusion in your very own home to getting the DIY done. The positive side to this for me is being forced to stand still. This isn’t something I am used to doing! I’ve enjoyed spending precious time with my family and then deciding and implementing the start up of my very own business to then leaving my secure employed role. Doing this mid pandemic seemed like a crazy idea.

Back to the pandemic…what will the new working life look like? Will employers continue to allow employees to work from home? Have you been working from home and got accustomed to it? Or, are you ready to get back into old working ways. Is working from home the new thing for years to come?…

What will things look like in the world a year from now?…
